Integrations & channels
WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, LINE, email and more all come into Echo. Read and reply to every conversation in one place, and each answer goes back out on the app the seeker used. No more logging into each app to check.
Channels
Each channel works the way people already know it, on the app they chose. Your responders answer every one of them from one inbox in Echo.
Is there someone I can talk to who speaks Arabic?
Yes. Samira speaks Arabic, and she’ll answer you in a moment.
I found your channel. Can I ask a question about the Bible?
Of course. Ask anything you like.
A friend sent me your video. Can I ask you something private?
Of course. What’s on your mind?

For now, every WhatsApp conversation starts with the seeker messaging you first. Telegram connects as a bot on your ministry's account, and LINE as your Official Account.
My brother is in the hospital again. Can someone pray with us?
We’re praying with you now. What’s his name?
this is the third night I’ve watched this. how do you start praying
There’s no wrong way to start. Can I show you how I do it?
Sunday evening prayer, live
Your ministry

Messenger conversations and Instagram direct messages, plus the comments on your page's posts, your live videos and your Instagram posts.
Does God hear you when you pray?
@yourministryFinding peace in a hard season

Your responders read and answer the comments under your videos from inside Echo. These are not private messaging channels.
A question after Sunday’s broadcast
I’ve been listening for a few weeks now. Is there someone I could write to about what I heard?
Hi Ruth, I’d be glad to. My name is Esther, and I read every message that comes to this address.

The address people already write to, in the same inbox. Gmail and Office 365 mailboxes connect directly; your own domain sends and receives as itself.
I tried calling earlier. Is anyone there tonight?
Yes, I’m here. Would you like me to call you back?
Purchase or port your ministry phone numbers into Echo. Calls in and out, texts, media messages and voicemail all arrive in Echo's inbox.
The chat widget on your own site, staffed by the same responders. Someone reading about your ministry can ask a question right there, without leaving the page or downloading an app.
Also External: log conversations from outside Echo in its CRM, so client info stays in one place.
Every mark above belongs to its owner and is shown to identify the channel Echo connects to. Echo is not endorsed by or affiliated with any of these platforms, and connecting one requires your ministry's own account.
Your responders
A responder answers Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and every other channel from inside Echo, and needs no account on any of them. Nobody on your team has to have Facebook to answer someone on Facebook.
Their personal accounts stay separate. A responder’s own Facebook or WhatsApp has nothing to do with the conversations they answer in Echo, and the two are never connected.
That protects your team. The platforms see your ministry’s account and the Echo connection, not the people replying through it.

What the platforms seeNo Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram account
Set by each platform, not by Echo
Some platforms limit how long a ministry can reply after a seeker’s last message. The clock starts over every time the seeker writes again, so a conversation that keeps going stays open. Echo shows the time left on every conversation, so a responder can see what is about to close.

Each new message from the same seeker starts the clock again. It counts from their most recent message, not their first.
Your responders can’t start a new message through Echo, but the moment the seeker writes again, the clock starts over. On Facebook and Instagram you can still reach them by logging in to the platform directly.
It keeps automated spam out of people’s inboxes, which is good for your seekers too. Every app that connects to these platforms, not only Echo, works under the same rules.
Phone & voice
Someone who calls a ministry is usually having a harder day than someone who sends a message. In Echo, every call and voicemail lands in the same inbox as everything else.
Buy or port as many ministry numbers as you need, and every one of them rings into Echo. Any number of your responders can be on calls at the same time.
Pick up inside Echo with no phone at all, or have Echo ring your own mobile whenever a seeker calls.
The seeker always sees your ministry’s number, on calls in and out. A responder’s personal number is never shown, because Echo places the call and connects the two.
If nobody picks up, the caller can leave a voicemail. It arrives in the shared inbox, where whoever is on shift plays it and calls back with one click.
Calls, voicemails, texts and messages from the same seeker gather in one history, so your team sees everything in one place.

Extra charges
WhatsApp, phone calls and SMS
WhatsApp accounts and phone numbers carry a monthly charge. Voice calls and SMS are billed by usage.
Everything is self-service. You can connect every channel yourself, whenever you’re ready, without talking to us first.
Add them in any order, one at a time or all at once. Echo gives you step-by-step instructions, and most connections take 10 to 15 minutes. WhatsApp can take longer, because Meta reviews each application.
Messages, comments, calls and voicemails from every channel arrive in one shared inbox, so the people who used to go unanswered reach someone who can reply.
Reports help you plan how to staff the hours of your day, and show what your conversations are adding up to.
Signing up brings a welcome letter with getting-started instructions, links to every guide and video, and the offer of an onboarding call with us. Whether you take it is the ministry’s decision, not a step we impose.
You do not need to move your audience anywhere: the accounts your people already message stay exactly where they are.
Your accounts stay yours and their existing history stays with them. Echo starts recording conversations from the moment a channel is connected. Bring this to the setup call if you need something specific carried over and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
No. A responder only needs an Echo account. Your channels connect through your ministry’s own accounts, and a responder’s personal accounts on those platforms are never connected to Echo.
WhatsApp Business access is granted by Meta, not by us, and there are requirements about your organization and how you use it. We can walk you through the application if you want help with it. Because Meta reviews each application, WhatsApp can take some time to set up.
No. On both platforms Echo manages comments: your responders see the comments under your videos and answer them from Echo's separate Social Media area. Private direct messages on those two platforms are not part of the integration.
Yes, and most cost nothing extra to add. WhatsApp accounts and phone numbers carry a monthly charge, and voice calls and SMS are billed by usage.
Platforms expire tokens and revoke access on their own schedule, usually without warning. Echo sends an email when a channel disconnects, and you choose who receives those emails. The channel also shows as disconnected in the admin rather than quietly failing, so it is something you can see and fix.
Yes. Our status page separates Echo's own components from partner platforms like Meta and Twilio, because when WhatsApp has an outage that is not something we can fix, but you should still be able to see it in one place.
