Introducing EchoAnalyst
When the board asks how the outreach is going, most leaders can only shrug. This paper shows how every Gospel conversation gets reviewed and scored, and where we decided AI does not belong.
Why this paper exists
Ministries are measured by people who were not in the conversations. A board, a donor, a denominational office, all asking a fair question in a language that does not fit the work: how is it going?
The usual answer is a spreadsheet of counts assembled the night before. It is honest work, and it tells almost nobody anything. Worse, it quietly trains everyone to value the countable parts of ministry over the parts that matter.
The three questions a board actually asks are whether the Gospel is going out, whether seekers are moving, and where the risk is. This paper is how we answer all three from the conversations themselves, and it is candid about the limits. There is a page in it titled "a note of humility", and it says that only God moves hearts and no metric can see what the Spirit is doing beneath the surface.
If you use Echo, the reporting does this for you. If you do not, the rubric and the questions are still worth reading. Most of it can be done by hand, and it is still worth doing.
